Step 1: Gather the necessary documents and pay the fees

Before completing the application form, ensure you have all the necessary documents in digital format (PDF, JPG, GIF, DOC, DOCX, or PNG) and have paid all the required fees:

• Letter to the Ambassador requesting a laissez passer, dated and signed
• Valid consular card
• Valid Ivorian national identity card or passport
• Certificate of loss issued by the Embassy
• Proof of address less than three (3) months old (bill or bank statement)
• Airline ticket reservation United Kingdom - Côte d'Ivoire

Step 2: Complete the application form

Fill in the application form accurately, providing all the required information.

Step 3: Upload the documents

Upload the documents collected as indicated in Step 1. Ensure they are in the specified digital format.

Step 4: Submit the application

Once you have completed the form and uploaded the documents, submit your application. Check that all the information is correct before finalising the submission.

Step 5: Wait for appointment date confirmation

After receiving your application, the Embassy will review it. Within 72 hours, you will receive an email confirming your appointment date. Please monitor your inbox, including the spam folder, for this important communication.

Step 6: Pay the Laissez-passer fee

Pay the Laissez-passer fee. Follow the instructions provided in the e-mail confirming your appointment date for the payment process.

Step 7: Attend the appointment at the Embassy

Please ensure that on the day of your appointment, you bring original versions of the following documents:

• Letter to the Ambassador requesting a laissez passer, dated and signed
• Your Valid consular card
• Payment receipt for the Laissez-passer
• Your appointment confirmation email

Step 8: Collect your document at the Embassy

You will be emailed a date by which you can collect your document from the Embassy. You can change your appointment according to your availability. Please note that document collection is by appointment only.

It is essential to consider the following points:

• The processing period is 10 to 14 days from the date of submission.
• Ensure that your departure date falls outside the indicated processing period to avoid your application being rejected.
• The travel itinerary of the applicant's flight ticket must include only one stopover country before the final destination.
