Here you will find information on the documents required and the steps to follow to apply for a consular card. Please read the instructions carefully before proceeding.

Step 1: Gather the necessary documents and pay the fees

Before completing the application form, ensure you have all the necessary documents in digital format (PDF, JPG, GIF, DOC, DOCX, or PNG) and have paid all the required fees:

  1. One of the following documents:
    • Ivorian national identity card
    • Ivorian passport
    • Birth certificate and Ivorian nationality certificate (Both documents need to be authenticated at the Ministry of the Interior and then legalised at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs)
  2. Proof of address less than three (3) months old (bill or bank statement)

Pay the required fees to the Ivorian Treasury by clicking here. You can save your application by clicking on the "Save and resume later" button and follow the instructions to resume your application once the fees have been paid.

Step 2: Complete the application form

Fill in the application form accurately, providing all the required information.

Step 3: Upload the documents

Upload the documents collected as indicated in Step 1, including stamp duty (£20 each) issued by the Ivorian Treasury. Ensure they are in the specified digital format.

Step 4: Submit the application

Once you have completed the form, upload the documents including the receipt for the stamp payment, and submit your application. Check that all the information is correct before finalising the submission.

Step 5: Choose when to collect

After submitting your application, choose a convenient time to collect your document.

Step 6: Collect your document at the Embassy

On the appointed day, make sure to bring the original versions of the following documents:

  • 2 passport photos
  • Your appointment confirmation email

It is essential to consider the following points:

  • The processing period is 7 working days from the date of submission.

Recommendations

  1. Admission to the Embassy is reserved for users personally concerned by a procedure and, if necessary, only one accompanying person whose assistance is absolutely necessary to the applicant.
  2. Bulky objects (suitcases, backpacks, luggage) are prohibited on the Embassy premises.All items that are prohibited in the cabin of an aircraft are strictly forbidden in the Embassy (knives, scissors, tools, etc.).
  3. It is forbidden to communicate by telephone within the Embassy
  4. Animals not allowed in the Embassy.
